Common Questions

Got questions? We've got answers. Explore our frequently asked questions below.

Is counselling really free for me if I have IFHP coverage?

Yes. If you are eligible for the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP), your counselling sessions are fully covered. You just need your IFHP document or UCI number when booking.
A doctor or nurse practitioner referral is required for coverage, and we can guide you step‑by‑step on how to get it quickly and easily.

Will what I share in counselling be kept private and confidential?

Everything you share in counselling is kept strictly confidential. Your information is never shared with doctors, lawyers, immigration officials, the IRB, CBSA, or any government agency without your prior written consent. Your privacy is always protected, and you choose what information is shared and with whom.

Do you offer counselling in languages other than English?

Yes. We offer counselling in Hindi, Punjabi, and Twi, and we strive to support you in the language that feels safest and most comfortable. If you prefer another language, the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) covers interpretation services, and we can help arrange an interpreter so you can receive care in the way that best supports your healing.
